FAQs

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Absolutely! I want you to be completely thrilled with your purchase! Simply send an email to hello@quailruncottage.com to initiate your return or exchange. You’ll need to pay shipping on returns, but exchanges ship totally free.

I heard crochet can only be made by hand, so affordable pieces are made by slave labor. Are all your items ethically produced?
100% of my products are handmade by me. I do not contract out any labor. I also strive to source yarns and materials from reputable companies who prioritize fair trade and sustainability practices.

How do I care for my purchase?
Most items can be machine washed on delicate cycle and tumble dried on low heat. However, as with most textiles, hand washing and laying flat to dry will always be recommended to keep your items looking new as long as possible. Visit the Product Care page for more details.
-
Do you accept custom orders/commissions?
Many of my items have links in the product description to the customizable version of the same item. There, you may request colors you don’t see listed, send in measurements for custom sizing (if applicable), or make other requests pertaining to an item already in the shop.
I open my waitlist for commissions during my slower times of the year, typically from January through April and occasionally in August and September. If you’re curious about commissioning a project, just ask! Use the Contact page or email jessica@quailruncottage.com.
