Product Care

  • Home items

Dishcloths are made from 100% cotton and can go in the washer and dryer with your other kitchen towels! Keep in mind that cotton will shrink a bit if dried on the highest heat setting.

Potholders are made from 100% cotton and are totally fine to machine wash and dry. However, our favorite way to wash them is in a sink full of warm (clean!) soapy water right before washing dishes. Rinse well and lay flat to dry, reshaping as needed.

Corner bookmarks are 100% cotton. Gently submerge in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent if needed. Rinse and lay flat to dry, reshaping as needed.

Cup cozies are 100% polyester. Our favorite way to wash these (since coffee is the usual culprit) is to dunk them in a sink full of warm, clean, soapy water just before doing a load of dishes, rinse well in cool water, and lay flat to dry.

  • Bags and home items

Market bags are made from a 100% recycled cotton and polyester blend. Hand washing and laying flat to dry is recommended to keep stitches looking fresh. Machine washing on delicate cycle is fine, just keep in mind that some “fuzzing” may occur.

Cross-body bags are made from 100% cotton. Due to the more delicate nature of the front pocket details and the hardware on these items, hand washing is highly recommended. Simply submerge the bag in lukewarm water with just a drop of detergent. Gently press air bubbles out. Carefully rinse under cool water. Lay flat to dry, reshaping bag and strap as needed.

  • Accessories

Bandanas come in 100% cotton, 85/15 cotton/poly blend, and 50/50 cotton/bamboo blends. Hand washing and laying flat to dry is highly recommended to keep stitches and ties looking great.

Scrunchies are 100% polyester and can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth.

  • Hats

Velvet beanies are made from 100% polyester (exclusive of poms/label) and should be hand washed and laid flat to dry. If needed, hit the poms with a hair dryer for a few seconds to fluff them back up.

Ribbed beanies are made from acrylic blends and may be machine washed on delicate cycle and tumble dried on low heat. Poms will fluff up in the dryer. Alternatively, they may be hand washed and laid flat to dry, using a hair dryer to fluff the poms.

  • Scarves

Featherweight scarves are made of a 75/25 polyester/acrylic blend. These delicate, lacy scarves should be hand washed only. Laying them flat to dry is important to keep the stitches from stretching too much.

Chunky scarves are made from an 80/20 acrylic/wool blend. You might be shocked to learn that these scarves are totally fine to be machine washed and dried! It is important to note, however, that the fringe will untwist if machine washed. This is not necessarily a bad thing, and many people like the frayed fringe look. However, you may decide to hand wash this item and lay flat to dry in order to preserve the twist of the fringe.
